It's sandy with shallow waters and is touristically organized.

Access to the beach is via a dirt road.

Located 2 km outside of Pythagorio, it's one of the most organized on the island, and in recent years has been honored many times with the Blue Flag.

It's a small bay, in which area there are hotels, cafe bars and restaurants.

The territory of the beach consists of sand and small pebbles and underwater is sandy.

The seabed is ideal for snorkeling or scuba diving.

Glicorisa beach was awarded with a Blue Flag for 2017.

The series of the following beaches starts from the northwestern edge of Samos island and continues in clockwise direction:


Megalo Seitani

It lies in northwestern Samos and is perhaps the most quiet beach of the island. Access is possible only by foot or by sea. It's characterized by outstanding natural beauty and is included in the Natura 2000 protection network, which is the reason why there are no organized tourist facilities there.

The territory of the beach consists of sand and pebbles, while the seabed is sandy.

Mikro Seitani

It's a beach with sand and small pebbles located between "Megalo Seitani" beach, which lies 45 minutes away (on foot), and "Potami" beach.

Access to Mikro Seitani is possible only on foot.


The beach is also included in the Natura 2000 protection network, so there are no organized tourist facilities there.

This large and touristically developed beach is pebbly and is located 2 km west of the town of Karlovasiat the mouth of the river.

Visiting the beach is usually combined with a visit to the green valley of the river, which has beautiful small waterfalls.

It's located in northern Samos, in Campos Vourlioton area, a few hundred meters from the famous Tsabou beach.

It's quiet, with crystal waters and big pebbles.

Mikri Tsabou is a hidden tiny bay with small pebbles and attracts nudists.

It's located a few meters east of Tsabou beach and it's much smaller than it.

It's an organized beach with turquoise waters, pebbles and pine trees which reach the sea.

Located
 2 km west of Kokkari village, Tsamadou beach is very close to Lemonakia beach. These two beaches look very similar.

Tsamadou is one the main touristic beaches on Samos island and attracts especially young people.


The eastern end of the beach is a nudists' gathering point.

It's one of the most popular beaches of northern Samos, located just outside Kokkari.

Like Tsamadou, Lemonakia is an organized beach with turquoise waters and pebbles, full of pine trees that reach the sea.

Kokkari

This beach with pebbles is located in the western part of Kokkari village, the biggest tourism center of northern Samos.

It's organized and ideal for windsurfing.

Both Mikri and Megali Lakka are quiet, without tourism facilities.

It's a very quiet beach, suitable for families, and has armyridia.

Makria Pounta can be reached by following the dirt road west of Limnionas and continuing for about 300 meters on foot.
Smaller beaches with caves are in the greater area of Makria Pounta.

Plaka

It's a small, clean and quiet beach in western Samos with pebbles and sand.

The beach has beautiful view to Fourni and Ikaria, with great sunsets, and is often wavy.

Varsamo
